He signaled the departure of three Vande Bharat Express trains at Bengalurus KSR Railway Station, including trains from Bengaluru to Belagavi, Amritsar to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, and Nagpur (Ajni) to Pune. The six-day-a-week train service will improve connectivity in Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Davangere, Haveri, Hubballi, Dharwad, and Belagavi. The Yellow Line of Bengaluru Metro Phase-2, costing about Rs 7160 crore, was officially opened by Modi. He took a ride in the metro to the Electronic City Metro Station.

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed in Bengaluru, Karnataka by Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot Chief Minister Siddaramaiah former Chief Minister and BJP leader BS Yediyurappa and other dignitaries.
PM Modi signaled the departure of three Vande Bharat Express trains at Bengalurus KSR Railway Station. This includes trains from Bengaluru to Belagavi, Amritsar to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Nagpur (Ajni) to Pune.
The anticipated six-day-a-week train is scheduled to depart Belagavi at 5:20 am. and arrive in Bengaluru at 1:50 pm by 2:20 PM it will depart Bengaluru and arrive at Belagavi by 10:40 pm with this service Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Davangere, Haveri, Hubballi, Dharwad and Belagavi will all have better connectivity.
The Bengaluru-Belagavi Vande Bharat Express is the 11th Vande Bharat Express to run in Karnataka. Railway officials said that it is the fastest train between the two cities, covering the distance of 611 km in just 8.5 hours. It saves about 1 hour 20 minutes from KSR Bengaluru to Belagavi and 1 hour 40 minutes from Belagavi to KSR Bengaluru.
This train connects Bengaluru, the Silicon City of India, to Belagavi. The inauguration was followed by a special inaugural train (06575) from KSR Bengaluru to Belagavi, leaving at 11:15 am and arriving at Belagavi at 8:00 pm the same day. It will stop at Yesvantpur, Tumakuru, Davangere, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubli and Dharwad.

Later the Yellow Line of Bengaluru Metro Phase-2 which runs from RV Road (Ragigudda) to Bommasandra was officially opened by the Prime Minister. Its 19 kilometers long. It cost about Rs 7160 crore and has 16 stations.
Additionally PM Modi took a ride in metro to the Electronic City Metro Station from RV Road (Ragigudda). Urban connectivity projects in Bengaluru will be inaugurated and the foundation stone laid by the prime minister. He will speak at a public event as well.
Several people had gathered on both sides of the road as the Prime Ministers convoy approached the railway station. They chanted Modi Modi as they greeted him.
