Bhopal: A bus lost control and overturned on the Bhopal-Biaora highway near Narsinghgarh in Rajgarh district. Approximately 26 passengers were injured in the accident. Following the incident, the injured were taken to Narsinghgarh Civil Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment; however, no one sustained serious injuries.

Outcry at the Scene

According to reports, the Gurukripa Travels bus (MP 13-ZH-8492) was en route from Bhopal to Guna on Thursday night. The bus was speeding and carrying around 50 passengers. Due to the high speed, the driver lost control; the bus veered off the road near Narsinghgarh and plunged down. Chaos and screams erupted at the scene as the bus overturned. Nearby villagers and passersby rushed to help and pulled the injured passengers out of the bus.

Officials and Police Arrive at the Scene

Upon receiving news of the accident, the Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, and Station In-charge (Gunja Solanki of Kurawar Police Station) arrived at the site, along with 'Dial 112' and '108' ambulance services. All injured passengers were extricated from the bus, although some had already managed to get out on their own. All 26 injured individuals were admitted to Narsinghgarh Civil Hospital; however, several people who did not sustain injuries left the scene directly. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
