Witnesses said Dipke was immediately escorted away from the protest area and shifted to a vehicle, where he is currently resting. His condition is said to be stable, though concerns among supporters briefly created tension at the venue.
The protest at Jantar Mantar was organised by the Cockroach Janta Party against alleged irregularities in competitive examinations, including the NEET-UG paper leak controversy and issues related to CBSE, CUET, and SSC-GD exams.
The agitation marks the party’s first large-scale public demonstration. The movement is being led by Abhijeet Dipke, who recently arrived in Delhi from Boston, USA. Supporters had welcomed him at Indira Gandhi International Airport before he proceeded directly to the protest site amid heavy security deployment.
Students and youth participating in the protest expressed anger over alleged lapses in the examination system. Protesters claimed that paper leak controversies and administrative failures have impacted the future of lakhs of aspirants across the country.
Addressing supporters before his health scare, Dipke said accountability must be fixed for repeated examination controversies. He also demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The Cockroach Janta Party initially began as a satirical social media campaign. The movement gained momentum after a controversial remark involving the word “cockroach” triggered widespread online discussions. Over time, the campaign evolved into an organised protest movement attracting support from students and young social media users.
Despite the incident involving Dipke’s health, the protest continued peacefully under heavy police deployment at Jantar Mantar. Demonstrators continued raising slogans and demanding action over alleged examination irregularities.
Delhi Police officials confirmed that permission for the protest had been granted after a formal request by the organisation, with arrangements made to ensure the gathering remained peaceful.
