New Delhi: After being rebuffed by India, Donald Trump is attempting to position himself as the world's dominant leader. At a business event in Doha, Donald Trump recently talked about Apple, India, trade, and some global matters, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

rump claimed Apple is investing approximately $500 billion in the United States. He said he had a talk with Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple.

Trump told him: “Tim, you’re my friend, and we’ve treated Apple very well in the U.S. But now I hear you're building more factories in India. I don’t like that. We want you to build in America, not India.”

His statements came at a time when India has obliquely said that no other country would intervene between India and Pakistan. India has also rejected Trump's claim of mediating a ceasefire between India and Pakistan by threatening them to stop trade if they did not listen to his demands.

Trump claimed that India charges very high tariffs (import taxes), which make it hard for American companies to sell their products there. Because of those high tariffs, U.S. businesses couldn’t grow much in India — U.S. companies aren't even in India's top 30.

But now, India has offered the U.S. a special deal. Trump explained that India will remove tariffs and allow American companies to sell American products with no extra tax. Trump said this is a big change, because earlier India was one of the countries with the highest tariffs.

Still, Trump said clearly: “India is doing well. They can take care of themselves. But we want Apple and other companies to build more in America, not India.”

Then he talked about how America’s image has improved. He said that 6 months ago, the U.S. was like a joke, but now it has become the most attractive country in the world — not just for business, but in many ways.

He also talked about the Middle East — praising strong relations with Saudi Arabia and Qatar. He said that no one can break those relationships because they are very strong.

He spoke about Iran too, saying the Amir (leader of Qatar) is trying hard to stop a U.S. attack on Iran and push for peace instead. Trump also talked about U.S. military strength, saying: “No one can beat us. Not China, not Russia. We have the best military in the world.”

He gave an example of how they defeated ISIS in just 3 weeks, even though others said it would take 4 years. At the end, he criticized Joe Biden, calling him the worst president ever, and said people now realize how bad things got under Biden, which helped Trump gain support again.

While Trump labels Joe Biden as "the worst president," his inconsistent approach to India-Pakistan relations demonstrates a lack of diplomatic understanding.
