Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu delivered an address at the anniversary celebrations of NTR Educational Institutions at Gandipet, where he shared his vision for the future of students and the role of education in shaping society. Speaking to students, faculty members, and guests, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of balancing technological advancement with strong ethical and cultural foundations.
The Chief Minister advised students to clearly define their life goals and work towards them with discipline and focus. He encouraged young learners to embrace modern technology and continuously upgrade their skills to remain relevant in a rapidly changing world. At the same time, he stressed the importance of preserving traditional values, stating that progress and cultural identity must go hand in hand for sustainable development.
Recalling the history of the Gandipet campus, Naidu noted that the same premises once served as a party headquarters and a leadership training centre. He said leadership camps were earlier conducted in these classrooms, shaping future leaders through discipline and ideological training. Today, the campus has transformed into a prominent educational hub where students pursue academics along with holistic development.

The Chief Minister highlighted that while the purpose of the campus has evolved, discipline remains a core value. He said that earlier leadership camps focused on building character and commitment, and now students are being prepared for academic excellence and all round growth. According to him, education should not be limited to textbooks but should also develop responsibility, leadership, and social awareness.
Naidu explained that NTR Educational Institutions were founded with a strong social purpose. He said the institutions were established to support children from families affected by faction violence and road accidents across the state over several decades. The initiative aimed to provide quality education to those who faced financial and social hardships, giving them a chance to build a better future.
Acknowledging the contribution of his wife Nara Bhuvaneswari, the Chief Minister credited her vision and leadership for the steady growth of the institutions. He noted that the number of students had increased from an initial strength of 131 to more than 1600 today. This expansion, he said, reflects the trust parents and students have placed in the institution’s values and quality of education.

Referring to the initiatives of the NTR Memorial Trust, Naidu highlighted its contribution to public welfare. He said blood donation drives conducted by the trust have benefited nearly 10 lakh people. He also spoke about Sanjeevani clinics run by the trust, which have provided healthcare services to around 22 lakh beneficiaries across the state, underlining the role of institutions in community service.
Calling students the true brand ambassadors of the institution, the Chief Minister urged them to commit themselves to lifelong learning. He encouraged students to take advantage of both online and offline courses to enhance their knowledge and skills. According to him, continuous learning is essential to adapt to technological changes and global competition.
Naidu concluded by stating that quality education and clear career focus are powerful tools to overcome poverty. He said that when students are equipped with knowledge, skills, and values, they contribute not only to their personal success but also to national prosperity. He urged students to remain dedicated, disciplined, and socially responsible as they prepare to shape the future of the country.
