New Delhi: Gold and silver prices rose across the country on Monday. In such a situation, the month has started with a green mark, in which the price of gold increased by up to Rs 300.

According to a Dynamite News correspondent, if market experts are to be believed, the increasing geopolitical tensions globally and the decline in the US dollar have made gold a safe haven investment for investors.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of gold rose 0.4% to Rs 96,260 per 10 grams, while silver was trading at Rs 97,345 per kg with a gain of 0.34%. In the international market too, the price of gold (gold price surge) has increased by 0.5% to $3,305.85 per ounce.

There was an upward trend in gold prices in major cities of the country. In Delhi, the price of 22-carat gold was Rs 89,650 per 10 grams, and the rate of 24-carat gold was Rs 97,790 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Patna, 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 89,500 and 24-carat gold at Rs 97,640 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Lucknow also, the price of 22-carat gold was Rs 89,650, and the rate of 24-carat gold was Rs 97,790 per 10 grams.

Silver price also increased

Silver prices also saw a slight increase. On Monday, the price of silver reached the level of Rs 100,000 per kg, which is Rs 100 more than last Friday. Market analysts say that due to global uncertainties and trade tensions, investors are being attracted to safe investment options like gold and silver.
