Saharanpur: Indian Air Force's Apache fighter helicopter had to make an emergency landing in the field. The Apache helicopter made an emergency landing on the banks of the Yamuna river in Chilkana village of Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

The emergency landing of the helicopter was done during routine practice. Both the pilots are said to be safe. A video related to this has also surfaced, in which the helicopter can be seen among the fields.

In fact, the helicopter took a routine practice flight from Sarsawa Airbase. When there was a technical glitch during the flight, both the pilots took a professional decision and made a controlled landing in the fields. Fortunately, there was no loss of life or property in this incident and both the pilots are completely safe. As soon as the helicopter landed in the fields, local villagers gathered at the spot.

But, the army and police controlled the crowd for security reasons. Some villagers tried to take videos and photographs, which were later removed by the police. As soon as the information was received, SP Rural Sagar Jain, army and administration officials reached the spot.
