India Slams Pakistan Over Deadly Kabul Hospital Attack
New Delhi: India has strongly condemned Pakistan's airstrike on the Omid Addiction Treatment Hospital in Kabul. The official spokesperson called it "cowardly and inhumane," stating that the attack targeted innocent civilians and cannot be termed a military action under any circumstances.
India stated that attacking a sensitive site like a hospital is a violation of international humanitarian law. The attack resulted in the loss of a large number of lives, which Pakistan is now trying to justify by calling it a military operation.
India called this a direct attack on Afghanistan's sovereignty. The statement said that such actions pose a serious threat to regional peace and stability and reflect Pakistan's irresponsible attitude.

India also stressed that the attack occurred during the holy month of Ramadan, which symbolizes peace and compassion. Targeting a hospital at such a time is against any religion, law, or morality.
India appeals to the global community to hold those responsible for this attack accountable and to prevent such attacks on civilians in the future.
India expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. It also reiterated its support for Afghanistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to Taliban officials, the attack killed approximately 400 people and injured more than 250. This incident has further escalated already simmering tensions between the two countries.
Afghanistan's Deputy Government Spokesperson, Hamdullah Fitrat, said on Tuesday morning that a large part of the hospital was completely destroyed in the airstrike that occurred on Monday night. He added that relief and rescue teams are on the scene and efforts are underway to extinguish the fire in the building and rescue those trapped in the debris. According to Fitrat, 400 people have been confirmed dead so far, while many injured are being treated in various hospitals.
Taliban government spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid issued a statement on social media, saying that this attack by Pakistan was a blatant violation of Afghanistan's sovereignty.
He said that most of the people killed and injured in the attack were drug-addicted patients undergoing treatment at the hospital. Mujahid also appealed to the international community to pay attention to the incident and put pressure on Pakistan.
