On Tuesday, approximately 180 flights were cancelled from Bengaluru and Hyderabad, while over 230 flights were affected nationwide. Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said that some of the airline's routes would be reduced and given to other airlines. Passengers are stranded at airports and facing long waits due to the crisis.

Sources said that 58 flights to and from Hyderabad were not operated, including 14 arrivals and 44 departures. Meanwhile, 121 flights were cancelled from Bengaluru, including 58 arrivals and 63 departures.
IndiGo Responds to DGCA Show Cause Notice as Passenger Crisis Deepens
Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said that the government will definitely reduce the number of routes operated by IndiGo. He stated that the routes removed from the schedule would be given to other airlines. IndiGo will get these routes back when it is able to operate its flights. The minister described this as a form of penalty for the airline.
Bengaluru: 121 flights cancelled from Kempegowda International Airport.
Hyderabad: A total of 58 flights cancelled, including 14 arrivals and 44 departures.
Chennai: 41 flights cancelled, 18 departures and 23 arrivals.
Ahmedabad: 16 flights cancelled, 9 arrivals and 7 departures.
According to official information, terminals and runways at the airports are functioning normally. Passenger amenities are being taken care of.

Many passengers are stranded at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. A passenger at Ahmedabad airport reported that their flight to Chennai, originally scheduled for 2 AM on December 9th, was rescheduled to 9 PM. They had to wait a total of 12 hours and did not receive a satisfactory response from the helpline.
The airline, led by Rahul Bhatia, operates more than 2,200 flights daily, covering over 90 domestic and 40 international destinations. Following a government order, the number of flights on some routes will be reduced, and these routes will be allocated to other airlines. Passengers have been urged to remain patient in light of the situation.
