This is a once-in-a-century event, meaning it won’t happen again for about 100 years. The sky will be cloudy in the afternoon during this time. This kind of eclipse hasn't been seen in a long time and won't be seen again for over a century.
This eclipse will start from the Atlantic Ocean and then move on to the Strait of Gibraltar, southern Spain, North Africa, and the Arabian Peninsula. But it will not be as clear in the Indian Ocean.

Some people are calling this the Great North African Eclipse, because it will be seen in most African countries. This eclipse is special because it will last for six minutes, and it won’t happen again for the next 100 years. Experts believe the next similar event will likely be in 2114.
The solar eclipse on 2 August 2027, will start in the Atlantic Ocean and reach the land near the Strait of Gibraltar. The first place to see the total eclipse will be southern Spain, Gibraltar, and Morocco. Then it will move on to Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt, where it will be at its highest point in the sky.
After crossing the Red Sea, the eclipse will be visible in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Somalia. The cities of Cadiz and Malaga in Spain will experience total darkness for over four minutes. The best view of the total eclipse will be in Tangier and Tetouan in Morocco, as these areas will be just under the central shadow path.
The sky in Libya will be dark for five minutes during the eclipse. The area around Luxor in Egypt will be in complete darkness for six minutes. The Italian island of Lampedusa will be almost fully covered by the eclipse. The last part of the eclipse will be visible in Jeddah and Mecca in Saudi Arabia, as well as parts of Yemen and Somalia. However, the August 2027 solar eclipse will not be visible in India or the surrounding countries.
