Mumbai: 30 Govindas who participated in Dahi Handi in Mumbai have been injured, out of which 15 have been discharged and 15 are undergoing treatment. Apart from this, one Govinda has also died. Govinda died while tying the rope of the Dahi Handi. The youth fell down on the ground while tying the rope of the Dahi Handi. Govinda has been identified as Jagmohan Chaudhary.
People have expressed grief over this incident. However, this is not the first time that a Govinda has become a victim of an accident during Dahi Handi. Many Govindas get seriously injured.
The accident took place in Bal Govinda Pathak located in Maharashtra Nagar Mankhurd. According to the information, a member of the Pathak fell down while tying the rope of the Dahi Handi. The injured was immediately taken to Shatabdi Hospital, Govandi. The hospital administration said that the youth had died, after which he was brought to the hospital.
15 are being treated in the hospital
The deceased has been identified as Jagmohan Shivkiran Chaudhary, whose age is said to be around 32 years. This accident happened during the preparations of Dahi Handi. Earlier, 5 Govindas were injured in Mumbai and Thane, who were admitted to different hospitals. But now the number of injured Govindas has increased to 30. All the injured Govindas were admitted to the hospital, out of which 15 have been discharged, while the other 15 are undergoing treatment.

However, this is not the first time that such incidents have happened during Dahi Handi. Such incidents have happened before as well. But people are saddened by the death of Jagmohan Shivkiran Chaudhary. Govind suddenly fell on the ground while tying the rope during the preparations of Dahi Handi and died on the spot. He was rushed to the hospital but it was too late by then. Doctors said that Govinda was brought to the hospital dead.
