New Delhi: Amid the growing tension between India and Pakistan, the situation is changing rapidly. First, US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between the two countries, and then suddenly China also jumped into this matter and started openly supporting Pakistan.
Meanwhile, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke to India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on the phone, reports Dnamite News correspondent.
According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Doval clearly said that the Indian security forces have suffered serious losses in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, so India needs to take strict action against terrorism.
He also said that India does not want war because it will not benefit anyone. He also expressed hope that India and Pakistan will maintain the ceasefire and peace and stability will be restored in the region.
In response to this, Wang Yi said that China also condemns terrorism and does not support any form of it.
He admitted that at present the international situation is very turbulent and it is very important to maintain peace in a sensitive area like Asia. Wang Yi said that both India and Pakistan are neighbors of China and they should resolve their differences through dialogue.
China appreciated Doval's statement that India does not want war. Wang Yi expressed hope that both countries will act with peace and restraint, resolve issues through dialogue, and not allow the situation to deteriorate further.
Finally, China said that it is in favor of a permanent and comprehensive ceasefire between India and Pakistan and supports dialogue in this direction, as this is in the interest of both countries and the entire world.
Pakistan broke the ceasefire with India in just four hours. On this, the central government has immediately ordered the BSF to give a strong and befitting reply, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Ceasefire was ripped apart
