New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being soft on US President Donald Trump. In a social media post, Rahul Gandhi wrote, "PM Modi is afraid of Trump." He claimed that PM Modi allowed Trump to announce that India would no longer buy oil from Russia. Rahul questioned why Parliament and the country were not informed if India had taken such a decision.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh also criticized the government on this issue. Rahul Gandhi Raised Several Other Questions

He also questioned why India did not receive global support during Operation Sindoor. Rahul said that China openly supported Pakistan, but India did not send a strong message.

He asked who allowed President Trump to talk about mediating between India and Pakistan. According to Rahul, all this is a sign of India's failing foreign policy.

He Also Took Aim At Women Journalists

Rahul Gandhi also criticized PM Modi for not allowing women journalists into the press conference during the Afghan Foreign Minister's visit to India. He said, "When you exclude women journalists from the stage, you send a message to every Indian woman that you are too weak to stand up for them."

He called PM Modi's talk of "women power" hollow and said that such discrimination reflects the government's mindset.
