      Javed Habib, a renowned hair stylist and businessman in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, has been embroiled in a major controversy.       Oppo launches A6 Pro 4G with Helio G100 and massive 7,000mAh battery

      UP STF nabs Rs 50,000 rewarded criminal Abhishek alias Pradyuman from Navi Mumbai

      The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has achieved a major success. Abhishek alias Pradyuman Yadav, carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, wanted in a case registered at Raniganj police station in Pratapgarh district, was arrested in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The accused had been absconding since a shootout over a land dispute.

      The STF Lucknow team received information that the wanted criminal Abhishek alias Pradyuman Yadav, resident of village Jariyari, Raniganj police station, Pratapgarh, was hiding in Navi Mumbai. Acting on this information, the team, led by Sub-Inspector Rahul Parmar, raided the area near Rawale intersection in the Ghansoli area of ​​Navi Mumbai at around 1 am on 22 September and arrested him.

      ED attaches assets worth over Rs 307 Cr in Fairplay betting case

      The Mumbai Zonal Office of Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth Rs 307.16 crore in Fairplay case, said Probe Agency official. The Fairplay is involved in alleged illegal broadcasting and online betting activities, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

      The assets that have been attached provisionally are in the form of bank balances and immovable assets like lands, villas and flats located at Dubai (UAE).

      The FIR (first information report) aginst Fairplay and others was registered by Viacom18 Media Pvt Limited with Nodal Cyber Police, Mumbai for allegedly causing loss of more than Rs 100 crore. The ED initiated PMLA investigation based on this FIR.

      Monsoon fury smashes Himachal

      The monsoon has devastated almost all the parts of the state paralysing routine life. So far 451 people have lost theri lives with 262 attributed to rain-related disasters such as landslides, flash floods, cloudbursts, drowning, electrocution and lightning. Rest 189 people have died in road accidents.

      The report by the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) tells 'At least 497 people have been injured during the season, while 47 remain missing.'

      Beside the loss human life, monsoon fury has also taken a toll on livestock. As many as 2,510 animals have died and 26,955 poultry birds lost their lives.
