New Delhi: India is going to add another historic chapter in the world of space science. Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla will leave for the International Space Station (ISS) today under the Axiom-4 mission of American space company Axiom Space. This mission will be launched from the US at 12:01 midnight on Wednesday and Thursday as per Indian time.
Axiom-4 mission will also have other international astronauts along with Shubhanshu Shukla, who will spend about two weeks on the ISS for scientific research and experiments. A total of 7 scientific experiments designed by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) have also been included in this mission. These include important projects related to biological reactions in microgravity, material science, space medicine and communication systems.
This mission of Shubhanshu Shukla is not only a moment of pride for India, but also a concrete step towards expanding the country's space capabilities. The Axiom-4 mission will further strengthen space cooperation between India and the US.
