New Delhi: During an important discussion in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi clarified Operation Sindoor and the Pahalgam terror attack. He said that the main objective of Operation Sindoor was to destroy the hideouts of terrorists, and when this goal was achieved, India announced a ceasefire on its own terms. He also revealed that an important call came from the US on the night of May 9, warning India that Pakistan was going to launch a major attack.

US warning and India's firm response

Prime Minister Modi said that on the night of May 9, the then Vice President of America called him, but he was busy in an important meeting with the army. Later when he called back, the US vice president informed him that Pakistan was planning a massive attack. On this, PM Modi clearly said that "if Pakistan attacks, India will give an even bigger response—bullets will be answered with shells." He said that on May 9 and 10, the Indian Army completely demolished Pakistan's military capabilities.

The world praised India's strength, but Congress did not support the army.

PM Modi targeted the Congress and said that when the whole world was praising the bravery of the Indian Army, the Congress refused to give moral support to the soldiers. He said, "We got international support, but our soldiers did not get the support of Congress."

Pahalgam terror attack—India's strong response

On the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, the prime minister said that he was abroad at that time, but on returning, he called a high-level meeting and directed to give a "befitting reply" to the terrorists. He said that this was a national resolve and the army was given full freedom.

Pakistan's 'nuclear blackmailing' will not work now

The Prime Minister made it clear that India has proved that the strategy of "nuclear blackmailing" will not work now. He said that India gave such a big blow to the terrorists that "their masters have lost their sleep."

Pahalgam attack—a conspiracy to break the unity of the country

PM Modi called the Pahalgam attack a "conspiracy to throw the country into the fire of violence." He said that the terrorists killed innocent people by asking their religion so that riots could be incited. But the unity of India foiled this conspiracy.
