Assam Leads as Voting Gains Momentum in Three Key States
New Delhi: According to the latest data shared by the Election Commission of India, till 11 AM, there has been a clear increase in voter turnout across all three states. Voting has picked up pace in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry due to active participation by voters.
A 32.78% voter turnout was recorded in Kerala till 11 am. Voting is underway for 140 assembly seats in the state. Long queues were seen at polling stations since morning, and voters are enthusiastically exercising their franchise. A total of 2.71 crore voters in Kerala will decide the fate of 883 candidates.

Voting is also continuing peacefully in the Union Territory of Puducherry. A 37.06% voter turnout was recorded till 11 am. Amid tight security arrangements, voters are arriving in large numbers at polling stations. Voting is being held for a total of 30 assembly seats, with 294 candidates in the fray.

Assam once again leads the nation in voter turnout. Voter turnout in the state was 38.92% as of 11 am. Over 25 million voters are exercising their franchise at 31,490 polling stations. Long queues were seen at many polling stations since early morning, clearly demonstrating the active participation of the public.

Earlier, by 9 a.m., voter turnout was around 17 percent in all three states. Assam recorded the highest voter turnout at 17.87 percent. Puducherry recorded 17.41 percent, and Kerala 16.23 percent. Long queues were seen at polling stations from early morning, and voters were highly enthusiastic.
