New Delhi: Corona cases have started increasing again in India. Due to the new variant, thousands of people have been found positive so far, and this trend continues. New cases are coming up every day from different states, and some people have also died, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
More than 1,000 active COVID-19 cases have been recorded across India, with 752 new cases in just one week.
In view of this, the central government has taken some precautionary steps and has also given instructions to the states. People are talking about lockdown on social media, so let's know when this decision is taken and what its rules are.
Two new variants found in India
The cases that are coming up also have some new sub-variants of Corona. NB.1.8.1 and LF.7 were variants of Omicron, and now their sub-variants JN.1 and LF.7 are coming out. Most people are getting infected with JN.1. Doctors say that these variants are not so dangerous, so people do not need to panic.
When is the lockdown imposed?
Now the question that people are repeatedly asking on social media is, "Can a lockdown be imposed?" Lockdown is not imposed just like that. The government takes this decision when the rate of deaths due to corona increases a lot.
That is, when there is a serious threat to people's lives due to the spread of corona, then markets and other things are closed for some time. Lockdown is the last resort, and before this, some mild restrictions are imposed and people are asked to be cautious.
No need to panic
The first and second waves of corona caused a lot of devastation all over the world, due to which everything had to be closed and governments had to suffer huge losses. But now people have taken vaccination and booster doses.
Due to this, these new variants are not that dangerous. Overall, there is no lockdown-like situation at the moment, so you do not need to panic. You just have to follow the corona protocol, and you will be safe from this virus.
