New Delhi: After the cowardly attack by terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu, and Kashmir, the Indian government has canceled the visas of all Pakistanis. They have been given an ultimatum to leave the country within 48 hours. After this decision, Pakistani citizen Seema Haider has again come into the limelight. Questions are being raised about whether Seema will also have to leave India.
Statement by her lawyer
Seema's lawyer, AP Singh, clarified in a video released on Facebook that all of Seema's documents have been submitted to the Home Ministry and the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of the Government of India. Her petition is currently pending with the President. At present, Seema lives with husband, Sachin, in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida.
The lawyer has made it clear that Seema Haider will not go to Pakistan. She will stay in Greater Noida with her husband Sachin Meena. However, after the Pahalgam attack, the demand to send Seema to Pakistan started rising on social media.
Seema's current condition
According to the lawyer, Seema Haider gave birth to a daughter last month. She is currently admitted to the hospital because her daughter is ill. Even during this period, she has expressed regret over the Pahalgam attack.
Seema's arrival in India
Seema Haider came to India illegally via Nepal with her four children. She met Sachin online in 2019 during a mobile game. Currently, Seema has recently become a mother and is in the hospital due to her daughter's illness. She has expressed deep grief over the Pahalgam attack.
Meanwhile, a new debate has started on social media regarding Seema Haider. Many users are advising to send Seema Haider to Pakistan. Others say that the matter regarding Seema Haider's citizenship and illegal migration is pending in the court. Under these circumstances, action against her is currently impossible.
Seema's case is still pending in the court and a decision on her citizenship is yet to be taken. What is your opinion on this matter?
