‘Youth Forced This’: CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Reacts To RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s Gen Z Interaction Plan

After youth-led protests brought Gen Z issues into focus, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke reacted to Mohan Bhagwat's planned student interaction, saying the youth has forced authorities to start listening.

New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has reacted to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat's upcoming interaction with Gen Z students, saying that the growing focus on young voices is a result of youth-driven movements.

Bhagwat is scheduled to interact with Gen Z and Gen Alpha students in Mumbai on August 6 during the inauguration ceremony of the International Movement to Unite Nations (IIMUN) Annual Championship Conference at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC).

'Dialogue Is Good, But Young Faces Should Represent Youth'

Responding to the planned interaction, Dipke welcomed the move but said conversations with young people would be more effective if led by younger representatives.

He said dialogue between generations is important but argued that Gen Z should have representation from within its own age group.

According to Dipke, young people understand the concerns and challenges of their generation better and can communicate more effectively with their peers.

'Gen Z Cannot Be Ignored Now'

Dipke said recent youth movements have forced authorities and public figures to recognise that Gen Z cannot simply be ignored or dismissed.

"The youth has forced this," he said, pointing to increased engagement by political leaders and public figures with younger audiences, including social media outreach.

He added that discussions with young people are necessary as they represent the future of the country.

Bhagwat's Mumbai Event to Host Thousands of Students

The IIMUN conference at NMACC is expected to bring together more than 2,000 students aged between 15 and 19 years from over 100 cities.

Students will participate in discussions and debates on local, national and global issues. The theme of the conference is "The Role of Youth in Uniting the World, the Indian Way."

Background: CJP-Led Youth Protests

Dipke's comments come days after youth-led protests organised by CJP over the NEET paper leak issue concluded following developments including the resignation of former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The protests had brought renewed attention to issues concerning students, examinations and youth representation.

Following the demonstrations, political leaders and organisations have increasingly focused on direct communication with younger audiences, particularly through digital platforms and youth-focused events.
