The deceased have been identified as Penaty Vijaya (38) a software employee, and her two children, Chetana Reddy (18), and Vishal Reddy (17).Both the children are students. The family was the resident of Harithavanam Colony in Boduppal.

Three of a family die after being run over by train near Charlapalli Station

Hyderabad: A mother and her two children, died allegedly by suicide on the outskirts of Charlapalli Railway Station here in Hyderabad. They "jumped" in front of a goods train in the early hours of Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Penaty Vijaya (38) a software employee, and her two children, Chetana Reddy (18), and Vishal Reddy (17).Both the children are students. The family was the resident of Harithavanam Colony in Boduppal.

A railway official said, "Suicidal Death case occurred on the outskirts of Charlapalli Railway Station at KM No.207/2 MMTS Line on 31.01.2026 at about 0040 hours"

Further details are awaited while the investigation is underway.
