

West Indies set a challenging target of 121 runs for India on the fourth day of the Delhi Test. Despite a strong partnership from John Campbell and Shai Hope, India’s bowlers, led by Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav, made crucial breakthroughs.

New Delhi: On the fourth day of the Delhi Test, West Indies set a target of 121 runs for India. The team was all out for 390 in the second innings. Justin Greaves (50) and Jaden Seals (32) added 79 runs for the 10th wicket off 113 balls.
At one point, West Indies were in danger of losing the innings. John Campbell (115) and Shai Hope (103) saved the team from defeat by scoring centuries. They added 177 runs for the third wicket. After their dismissal, the remaining batsmen could not put up much of a fight.

For India, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets each. Mohammed Siraj took two wickets. Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar took one wicket each. On the third day of the match, West Indies were all out for 248 in their first innings. India had declared their first innings at 518/5, forcing the West Indies to follow on. Match Scoreboard
Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bat first. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a brilliant 175, followed by an unbeaten 129 from captain Gill. India declared their first innings at 518. Following this, West Indies' first innings began on the second day of the Test. By the second session of the third day, West Indies' first innings ended at 248, after which India decided to enforce the follow-on.
In the first innings, Kuldeep Yadav took 5 wickets, Ravindra Jadeja took 3, and Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj took 1 wicket each. India had taken a lead of 270 runs in the first innings.
