Shreyas Iyer Suffered An Injury

Team India's vice-captain, Shreyas Iyer, suffered an injury in the third ODI of the Australia tour. The match was played in Sydney, where Team India defeated the Kangaroos by 9 wickets to secure their final victory in the series.

Team India suffered defeats in the first two ODIs. After a poor performance in the first match, Iyer returned to action in the second ODI in Adelaide and scored a half-century, but the team still lost. Iyer did not need to bat in the third ODI, as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli played brilliant innings to lead the team to victory.

In the third ODI, the Kangaroos scored 184 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 33.3 overs. Alex Carey attempted an inside-out shot on the fourth ball of Harshit Rana's over, but mistimed the ball. Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer, fielding at backward point, took a brilliant catch while running back.

However, he lost his balance while taking the catch and fell over twice, fracturing his left rib. This victory was crucial for the team, but Iyer's injury has raised concerns about his health.
