Pakistan Out Of The Tournament

With this defeat, Pakistan is officially eliminated from the World Cup. India, on the other hand, has directly benefited from this. Pakistan's elimination from the semi-final race has given India the right to host the final and semi-finals.

Why Was Sri Lanka Made A Co-Host?

Although India had the right to host the Women's World Cup 2025, Pakistan's decision not to play in India led to Sri Lanka being made a co-host. All of Pakistan's league matches were played at the R. Premadasa Stadium. Had Pakistan reached the semi-finals or final, those matches would also have been held in Sri Lanka.

The Final Will Be Held In India

From the beginning of the tournament, it was unclear whether the final would be held in India or Sri Lanka. But now that Pakistan has been eliminated from the semi-final race, it has been confirmed that the final will be played in India. Both the semi-finals and final will be played at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
