New Delhi: After being forced to follow on, the West Indies turned the match around with a fighting performance on the third day. After losing two early wickets, Shai Hope and John Campbell took charge and challenged India's lead with an unbeaten partnership of 138 runs. Both batsmen displayed a unique blend of patience and aggression, disrupting the Indian bowlers' rhythm. Campbell is at the crease with 87 runs and Hope with 66 runs. At the end of the third day's play, the West Indies are at 173 for two.
Early in the day, Kuldeep Yadav bowled brilliantly, taking five wickets and restricting the visitors to 248 runs, after which India enforced the follow-on. However, in the second innings, the West Indies batsmen adopted a completely different approach. They targeted the spinners and constantly rotated the strike to ease the pressure. Now, the West Indies are just 97 runs behind, and on the morning of the fourth day, the team will look to convert this partnership into a big innings.

West Indies' second innings started a bit slowly, losing two wickets for just 35 runs. India's bowling was impressive, with Mohammed Siraj and Washington Sundar providing early breakthroughs. However, John Campbell and Shai Hope then batted brilliantly, putting pressure on the Indian bowlers. Their strong 138-run partnership revived West Indies' chances in the match.

However, West Indies still need to score 97 runs to avoid defeat. If the Indian bowlers manage to take quick wickets on the fourth day, India could win the match by an innings margin.
