New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has made a big disclosure regarding the recently concluded assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. He said before the UP elections, the Congress wanted to forge an alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party.
For this Mayawati was also offered the post of Chief Minister, but she did not even respond.
Rahul further said that Mayawati and her Party did not fight elections for Dalit voices due to the fear of ED, CBI and Pegasus.
I have high regards for Kanshi Ram ji because he raised the voice of Dalits in UP, though it affected Congress at that time, he added.
