Sunny Leone Shines Double in Mastizaade

Mumbai/ 18 Jan 2016. This month is set to become very sunny indeed. Former porn star turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone is back to Bigg Boss and will be seen in Season 9 episode tonight in promotion of her upcoming film Mastizaade, where she is featured in a double role.

Touted as an ‘Adult Comedy Film’, Mastizaade is directed by Milap Zaveri, the writer of the 2004 hit film Masti, and stars Sunny Leone in a double role along with Tushar Kapoor and Vir Das. Shot extensively in Thailand, the film release was delayed due to Censor Board issues, but is slated to release on 29 January, 2016.

The Bigg Boss reality show launched Sunny Leone to mainstream Indian audiences in 2011, propelling her into instant stardom. Leone received her first film offer for Jism 2 during her stay at Bigg Boss 5, and hasn’t looked back since. Going on to star in Jackpot, Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli Leela and Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, she has received mixed success, both commercially and critically. Leone is a popular ‘item girl’ and has also forayed into the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries.
