Chennai: Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and elected to bowl first against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 8th IPL match here at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
CSK’s bowler Matheesha Pathirana is returned to playing eleven following an injury while pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was roped in by the RCB to strengthen their bowling unit.
Notably, RCB has beaten the Super Kings only once at this venue that too in the first edition of the cash-rich league.
