Pune : In a tragic incident, two people lost their lives due to electrocution during an Eid-e-Milad procession in Pune's Wadgaon Sheri area, police said.
Police said
According to the police, the deceased came into contact with high-voltage electric wires while waving a flag on a DJ truck on Sunday.
Senior Police Inspector
The Senior Police Inspector of Chandannagar Police Station said that the procession took place at Anand Park in Vadgaon Sheri, with numerous participants.
Two youths climbed
Two youths climbed onto the DJ truck and were waving a flag when the tragic accident occurred. One youth died instantly, while the other succumbed to injuries during hospital treatment.(with Agency inputs)
