Rajasthan: CM Ashok Gehlot meets Kanhaiya's family; gives Rs.50 lakh cheque, assures trial in fast court

Udaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday met slain Kanhaiya Lal's family members at their house here. 

Gehlot expressed his condolences on the gruesome murder of Kanhaiya Lal. He also handed over a cheque of Rs.50 lakh to the family members. He assured the family members that he'd seek the trial of this case by fast track court. 

Later, while talking to media, the Cheif Minister said that the killers are connected with some international gang. He said it is a very serious matter and there is outrage across the cuntry.

Chief Minister further said that he would talk to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and try that the case is taken up in the fast track court and the accused are punished in a week. 

'Our police did a good job and arrested the accused promptly,' Gehlot added.
