Lucknow: Senior IPS Om Prakash Singh has been appointed as new DGP of UP. He is Presently working as DG CISF.
On the recommendations of a committee headed by UP chief secretary, principal secretary (home) and principal secretary to chief minister, the State government has requested the government of India to make available the services of Om Prakash Singh.
