Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi on Thursday filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections from Telangana. The nomination was submitted in Hyderabad, marking another significant step in his long parliamentary career.
Party leaders and supporters were present during the filing of nomination papers. Singhvi’s wife, veteran singer Anita Singhvi, also accompanied him during the process.

Sources indicated that Singhvi is likely to be elected unopposed in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. If that happens, it will mark his fifth term in the Upper House of Parliament.
