Lucknow: Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath a total of 30 important proposals related to the state interest were approved in the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet meeting held at Lok Bhavan on Thursday.
In this meeting, several important decisions related to education, employment, infrastructure, urban development and judicial services were taken, which are believed to give a new direction to the overall development of the state, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
A major decision of the meeting was related to the operation of JPN International Convention Center (JPNIC). Now the responsibility of this convention center has been handed over to the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA). It is believed that this decision will improve the quality of operation and maintenance of JPNIC and make it more active for national-international level events.
The construction of a new link expressway has been approved to connect the Agra-Lucknow Expressway to Purvanchal Expressway towards improving the road network of the state,
This project will not only increase traffic ease, but will also give impetus to industrial and tourism activities.
The formation of Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission has been approved, which aims to create new employment opportunities in the state and provide appropriate place to the youth according to their skills. Under the Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy – 2022, the recommendations made in the previous meetings of the high-level authorized committee have also been approved. By approving the Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority Area Regulation 2025, the possibilities of industrial development in the Bundelkhand region have been strengthened
Approval was given to implement the Uttar Pradesh Development Authority Building Construction and Development By-laws and Model Zoning Regulations - 2025, which will strengthen the planned and systematic development process of cities.
It has been decided to increase the retirement age of the personnel of Uttar Pradesh Bhasha Sansthan from 58 years to 60 years, so that the services of experienced personnel can be availed for a longer period.
Approval has also been given to contract C-DAC (Center for Development of Advanced Computing) on nomination basis for the upgradation of the Integrated Financial System (IFMS) of the state government. This step will promote digital transactions and financial transparency in the state.
