Sonbhadra: A high speed trailer hit a car near Kakri Jhoolantrali of Anpara police station area of ​​the district and dragged the car for a long distance. However, family travelling in the car narrowly escaped. Locals believe that the attempt to overtake was the cause of this accident, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media, in which the high speed trailer and the incident of hitting the car can be clearly seen. It can be clearly seen in the footage how the trailer hit the car and frightened all the passengers including the driver.

Some of the family members travelling in the car suffered minor injuries, but luckily they were not seriously injured. A huge crowd gathered at the spot, which further made the situation tense. The local people calmed the matter by talking among themselves.

Trailer Driver In Police Custody

After the incident, the local administration took immediate action to remove the jam on the route and bring the situation under control. The driver of the speeding trailer has been taken into custody by the police for questioning.

Eyewitnesses said that the trailer was coming at a very high speed, and in an attempt to overtake the car, the trailer lost balance. However, if there was any other big vehicle in front of the car, the result could have been even more terrible.

Earlier Accidents

Earlier also a person had died in a painful road accident in Renukut main market located in Pipri police station area of ​​the district. The deceased was identified as Hardev Singh, son of Surjeet Singh, who originally hailed from Asansol (West Bengal) and was currently working in the security department of Hindalco while residing in Renukoot.

Hardev Singh had left home for some work and was talking to someone while standing on the side of the road after reaching the main road. At the same time, a tractor of the Nagar Panchayat was standing in the middle of the main road, from which garbage was being picked up. Due to this, a part of the road was blocked and vehicles going towards Shaktinagar started passing through the narrow space.

Meanwhile, a truck coming at high speed hit the scooter standing on the side of the road. In this collision, Hardev Singh, who was standing next to the scooter, also fell on the road and the wheel of the truck passed directly over him, due to which he died a painful death on the spot.
