Sonbhadra: The BJP Mahila Morcha has strongly reacted to the controversial remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother in Rahul Gandhi's rally. On the call of BJP Mahila Morcha Sonbhadra, a strong protest was held outside the District Congress Office on Wednesday. The protesters raised slogans against Rahul Gandhi and demanded a public apology from him.

The BJP Mahila Morcha said that those remarks are not only an insult to the Prime Minister's mother but an attack on the honour of women across the country. They called it against the unity and culture of the country and vowed not to tolerate such statements. Slogans like 'Maa ka apmaan nahi sahega Hindustan' were raised during the protest.

There was strong sloganeering between Congress and BJP supporters, which made the atmosphere tense. Policemen were engaged in controlling the situation. BJP Mahila Morcha President Ruby Prasad said that such statements create a rift in the society and harm the social harmony of the country. She warned Rahul Gandhi to apologize immediately and not make such statements in future.
