Moradabad: A tragic accident happened in Bilari police station area on Moradabad-Agra State Highway on Wednesday afternoon, in which two girl students died on the spot, while a girl student and the mini metro driver were seriously injured. These girls were going to take the exam, when a high speed dumper hit their mini metro.
The incident took place near Gramoday Mahavidyalaya and Shodh Sansthan in Amarpur Kashi, where Chandni (23), a resident of Sahaspur, Shabnam (22), a resident of Mohalla Abdullah and Farha of Bada Bazar, who were going to give their MA practical exam, were going to college in a mini metro with driver Raju.
On the way, a high speed dumper loaded with mining material hit their mini metro. The collision was so severe that the mini metro overturned and all the passengers fell on the road.
Chandni and Shabnam died on the spot
Chandni and Shabnam died on the spot in the incident, while Farha and driver Raju were seriously injured.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police station in-charge reached the spot with his team and took the injured to CHC with the help of an ambulance. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem.
Legal action against the driver
The police have taken the dumper and mini metro from the spot and taken them to the police station and started legal action against the driver. There was chaos in the houses of both the deceased students as soon as the news of the incident was received. The family members are crying inconsolably.
Deep investigation of the causes of the accident
Police station in-charge Bilari said that the dumper driver has been taken into custody and the matter is being investigated. The injured are being treated at the Primary Health Center.
