Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is set to conduct the second shift of Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) and Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF)/Range Forest Officer (RFO) Prelims Examination 2025 at 2:30 pm. As per the schedule, the UPPSC PCS prelims 2025 shift 2 will end at 4:30 pm.

Candidates are also required to reach the centre at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the exam as entry will be closed 45 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam. The shift 1 of the exam concluded at 11:30 am.

Over 6 lakh to appear

Over 6.26 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the examination across 1,435 centers in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. In Prayagraj alone, more than 28,000 candidates have registered, with centers set up in areas like Jasra, Karachhana, Soraon, and Sahson. Authorities have ensured that all centers are accessible via main roads to facilitate smooth transportation.

Special Arrangements for Candidates

To assist candidates in reaching their exam centers on time, the Prayagraj Railway Division of North Central Railway (NCR) has implemented special measures. These include enhanced surveillance through CCTV, dedicated passenger assistance teams, and increased coordination with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP). Reserved coaches and special trains have been arranged to cater to demand, and train timings may be adjusted accordingly.

Strict Security Measures

The district administration has implemented stringent measures to ensure a fair and secure examination process. These include banning electronic devices, books, bags, and face coverings inside the exam centers. Candidates' personal items will be stored in cloakrooms, and identity verification will be conducted using biometric iris scans, followed by the issuance of a hologram on the admit card. Invigilators are also barred from carrying mobile phones.

Important Guidelines for Candidates

Reporting Time: Candidates must reach their exam center at least 1.5 hours before the scheduled exam time.

Gate Closure: The gates of the exam center will close 45 minutes before the scheduled exam time. No candidate will be allowed entry after this time.

Admit Card: It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their admit cards to the examination center. Admit cards can be downloaded from the official UPPSC website: uppsc.up.nic.in and uppsc.up.nic.in
