Sonbhadra: Two youths lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Robertsganj Kotwali area of ​​the district. This accident happened near Tendu village on Varanasi-Shaktinagar State Highway, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Accident occurred when an uncontrolled bike collided with a Hiva truck parked on the roadside. Boths were riding the bike, and they were returning from a wedding ceremony.

Youths who lost their lives in the accident have been identified as Pintu Kol (30 years) son of Sukalu, resident of Nagnath Haraiya and his friend Kariman (28 years) son of Pappu, resident of Takiya. Both the youths were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony organized at a temple located near Tendu bridge on Monday night. It is being told that in the darkness of the night, the bike suddenly went out of control and hit a truck parked on the side of the road.

Bike Collided With A Truck

The collision was so severe that both the youths were seriously injured. With the help of passersby and local people, both were immediately taken to the nearest hospital, but by then it was too late. The doctors declared both of them dead.

As soon as the news of the accident was received, a large number of villagers and local people gathered at the spot. On receiving the information, the police also reached the spot and started investigating the incident. The police took stock of the condition of the truck driver and the vehicle and started further action.

Police Engaged In Investigating

As soon as the family got the information about this accident, they reached the spot in an unconscious state. There was an uproar in the family on hearing the news of losing their beloved ones. The parents and other family members started crying bitterly. A wave of mourning has spread in the village.

Local people say that heavy vehicles are often parked on the roadside at night on this route and the lighting is also not good, due to which there is a risk of accidents. The villagers have demanded from the administration to improve the traffic system on this route and make proper arrangements for lighting at dark places.

The police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem and further investigation is going on.
