New Delhi: Indian Air Force Group Captain and astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla spoke about his space experience and future plans at the "Future Frontiers Conclave" organized by FICCI Ladies Organization (FICCI FLO). This was his first public forum since returning from the International Space Station (ISS) under the Axiom-4 mission.
Shubhanshu told Dynamite News that every moment in space was unforgettable and thrilling. "From the beginning of the space journey to the return, the experience was very memorable," he said. He was overwhelmed by the love and support he received upon returning to the country.
Shubhanshu highlighted India's space policy, saying that ambitious dreams like Mission Gaganyaan, the Indian Space Shuttle, and landing on the Moon by 2040 will be realized under the policy released in 2023. He said that his mission is an important step in this direction and will inspire future generations.
The astronaut stated that he will use his Axiom-4 mission experience and technical knowledge to further India's space program. He also aims to inspire young people to pursue careers in this field.
