Etah police launch awareness drive to ensure safety of teenagers; Watch video

Etah: Etah Police have launched a ten day district wide awareness campaign under Operation Jagriti 5.0 to address issues related to teenagers and prevent cases of elopement. The initiative is being carried out across the district under the direction of ADG Zone Agra Anupama Kulshreshtha and the supervision of SSP Shyam Narayan Singh. The campaign aims to educate adolescents and their parents about the risks associated with teenage behaviour and the importance of timely guidance and responsible choices.

During the campaign, police teams interacted with parents and teenagers in rural and urban areas, including schools, marketplaces, and public spaces. Officers highlighted the dangers of social media misuse, unsafe online friendships, negative peer influence, and impulsive decision making. The drive focuses on prevention through awareness, encouraging families to remain alert and maintain open communication to ensure the safety and well being of teenagers.
