Ayodhya: The Samajwadi Party organized the PDA Barhari convention in the Ayodhya assembly constituency. Former minister Pawan Pandey led the convention. A large number of party workers, office bearers, and supporters attended the event. Addressing the convention, Pawan Pandey launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state.
He stated that in the 2027 assembly elections, the public will oust the BJP's "oppressive and tyrannical" government from power and elect Akhilesh Yadav as Chief Minister. Pandey alleged that law and order has completely failed in the state, and that sisters and daughters are not safe. He stated that incidents like murder, robbery, and rape are on the rise, exposing the government's failure.
Referring to recent incidents, Pawan Pandey said that the incidents involving daughters of Dalit and minority families in the Ayodhya-Faizabad region are extremely tragic and expose the reality of the BJP's "rule of law." He called Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath a failure on the law and order front.
SP leaders and workers present at the convention reiterated their resolve to achieve a change of power in 2027. The speakers raised the issue of rising inflation and corruption and said that the common man is troubled and wants change.
