The comedian’s return has been widely discussed online, with fans praising his candid storytelling and signature humour.

Revisiting the Controversy

During the performance, Raina addressed the controversy linked to his show India’s Got Latent, which was taken down after backlash over remarks made in an episode featuring Ranveer Allahbadia.

He claimed that several inappropriate questions had been asked during filming, but he chose to retain only a small portion in the final edit. According to Raina, most of the objectionable content was removed before the episode was released.

The incident had led to multiple complaints and forced the removal of the show from the platform.

Remarks on Sunil Pal and Mukesh Khanna

Raina also reflected on reactions from within the entertainment industry. He mentioned that comedian Sunil Pal had criticised him during the controversy and even suggested he take cues from Kapil Sharma.

In a lighter moment, Raina referred to actor Mukesh Khanna and his iconic superhero persona, joking about how overwhelming the criticism felt at the time.

The success of Still Alive signals a strong return for Raina, who hinted at the possibility of bringing back India’s Got Latent with a second season. With millions of views and growing engagement, the special marks a turning point in his career, as he attempts to move past controversy and reconnect with audiences.
