New Delhi: Television actress Sanchita Ugale ( Age: 22) is alleged to have committed suicide at her residence on Sunday evening, June 14, 2026. The probe into the circumstances of her death is underway and police have launched an investigation and registered a suicide case at Achole Police Station.

Incident Reported During Evening Hours

According to officials, Ugale was at home with her family on Sunday. Her sister had briefly stepped out earlier in the evening. She was later found unresponsive at the residence, following which she was taken to a nearby municipal hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Police said no foul play has been confirmed at this stage, and the exact circumstances are under investigation.

Police Register ADR, Probe Underway

Achole Police have registered an ADR under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and are examining all aspects of the case. Further details will be shared after the investigation progresses.

Sanchita Ugale was known for her work in television and films. She played the lead role in the Hindi serial Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi and also appeared in shows such as Kumkum Bhagya and Wagle Ki Duniya. She had roles in films including Chhaava and Silence 2.

In earlier interviews, she had spoken about the challenges of building a career in Mumbai’s entertainment industry and the difficulties faced by outsiders in securing steady lead roles.
