Subjects from another building then informed the police at 1:45 am that some children were crying and pleading for help behind closed windows.

He locked the children with two women and a young assistant and secured the studio door with a burglary alert sensor.

He threatened to use a flammable chemical and set it on fire if the police entered. He also had an air gun.
