Greater Noida: On August 21, an incident came to light from Sirsa village of Kasna police station area of Dadri that shook everyone. It has been nine days since Nikki Bhati's death, but it is still not clear whether Nikki set herself on fire or her husband Vipin Bhati burnt her. Several videos going viral on social media have made the police investigation more complicated. Further investigation of the case depends on the forensic report.

When the team reached Nikki's house, it was closed, but the people around and Nikki's relatives met for a conversation. Vipin's family members were angry with the media and were accusing the media of showing the case one-sidedly. Vipin's aunt's son Monu made many shocking revelations in front of the camera. He told that at the time of the incident, Vipin was outside the house and Nikki and her sister Kanchan were involved in this conspiracy. Monu said that the police should also take Kanchan into custody and interrogate her so that the whole truth can come out.
The villagers are also saying that when both the sisters were being tortured, why were they silent. He said that Nikki's death is sad, but the matter should be investigated impartially so that it can be known whether it is murder or suicide.
Nikki's father said that his daughter was constantly tortured. There were two attempts to resolve the matter in the Panchayat, but Vipin and his family kept fighting. He said that the whole family together is responsible for the murder of his daughter. He told the police that it was necessary to catch Vipin so that justice could be done.
Nikki's aunt told that both the sisters were married in the same house by giving a huge dowry, but Vipin was already involved in criminal activities and was caught many times with other girls. He said that Vipin's family was demanding Rs 35 lakh and an expensive car, and also had problems with Nikki's parlour, due to which he used to harass her. The aunt said that the whole family together committed the murder and Kanchan is a witness to this.
The police have arrested Vipin, his brother Rohit Bhati and parents and sent them on 14-day police remand. When the police went to recover the thinner, Vipin tried to run away, on which the police retaliated and shot him in the leg. The forensic investigation of the viral video has been sent to Agra and Chandigarh. The police is also investigating the mobile CDR related to the case.
