Scuffle between two groups of students kills one
Ghazipur: A minor dispute between two groups of students turned into such a terrible incident on Monday that a 9th class student attacked a 10th class student Aditya Verma and his friends Aman and Sahil with a knife repeatedly in a private school in Maharajganj area here in Ghazipur, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Out of all the three Aditya was steped in the chest multiple times. All three students were rushed to the hospital where doctors declared Aditya dead. The police said that the reason for dispute between the groups is not clear. But both the groups had a fight outside the school which resulted in this horror in the school. A Police official said that the accused is a student in the same school. He had perhaps hid the knife in his bag.
Aditya was in the tenth grade at the time. The deceased student Aditya Verma resided in Yusufpur in the Mohammadabad neighborhood of Ghazipur and was a 10th grader. The family hurried to the hospital as soon as they learned of the incident. They were devastated and sobbed when they learned of their sons passing. According to reports the injured students are in critical condition and are receiving ongoing medical care. After arriving at the scene police began their investigation.
The police Sadar area officer and forensic team arrived at the scene as soon as they received the news. Following the collection of evidence from the scene police began questioning the students. According to police the cause of the stabbing incident is still unknown but preliminary investigation indicates that it was the result of a minor argument.
Gyanendra Prasad Deputy Superintendent of Police (City) stated that the police took immediate action after learning of the incident. They are interrogating students who are eyewitnesses. Additional legal action will be taken following the familys complaint. The school was in disorder. Panic swept through the area as a result of this incident. The fact that a student brought a knife into the school has prompted concerns about the security and administration of the institution.
According to locals this significant incident could have been prevented if the argument had been broken up sooner. The family of the deceased student will receive justice according to the police who are conducting a thorough investigation into the case.
