Patna: The RJD suffered a crushing defeat in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. Tejashwi Yadav, who had claimed to be sworn in as Chief Minister on November 18th, was reduced to just 25 seats.

Following the RJD's poor performance, Madan Prasad Madhuban is now being widely discussed. This is the same Madan Prasad whose ticket was cut by the RJD and who burst into tears.

Madan Prasad even lay down on the ground outside Lalu Yadav's house in Patna and angrily declared that the RJD would win only 25 seats.

Now that the election results are out, Madan Prasad's words have proven to be absolutely correct. He had cursed the RJD to be reduced to just 25 seats.

Meanwhile, after the assembly election results were announced, another statement from Madan Prasad has surfaced. He said, "While I am saddened by the party's defeat, whatever God does is for the good."

Madan Prasad claimed that some individuals are trying to destroy the party and that unless they are expelled, the party will not prosper.

'Tejashwi Yadav will not be able to form a government'
It is noteworthy that on October 19, after being denied a ticket from the RJD, Madan Prasad had said, "...He (Tejashwi Yadav) will not form a government.

Tejashwi is very arrogant, he doesn't meet people... He is distributing tickets... Sanjay Yadav is doing all this... I have come here to die. Lalu Yadav is my mentor... He said he would give me a ticket... He gave the ticket to Santosh Kushwaha, a BJP agent..."

Madan Prasad further said, "In 2020, Lalu ji called me to Ranchi and conducted a survey of the Teli community population and told me that Madan Prasad would defeat Randhir Singh from the Madhuban assembly constituency.

Tejashwi ji and Lalu ji called me and said they would give me a ticket. I have been working for the party since the 90s. I am a poor man, I even sold my land..."
