Bengaluru: Viewers of the highly popular reality show "Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12" in Karnataka have received shocking news. The Karnataka Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has issued an order to immediately close the show's shooting location. This decision was taken due to violations of environmental regulations.
"Bigg Boss Kannada" was being shot at Jolly Wood Studios (also known as M/s Wells Studios & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.) located in the Bidadi Industrial Area of Ramanagara district. The studio has been accused of causing pollution and violating regulations.

The KSPCB stated that despite repeated inspections and warnings, the studio failed to follow guidelines. Due to this, the Board ordered the closure of the studio under Section 33(A) of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
Shooting for "Bigg Boss Kannada 12" was currently underway at the studio. However, shooting may now be halted or stopped altogether. The KSPCB has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Ramanagara to seal the studio and BESCOM (Electricity Department) to cut off the power supply.

This will directly impact the show's broadcast and production. The team involved may have to find a new location, or the show's schedule may be changed.
KSPCB officials say this action was taken to protect the environment and ensure compliance with the law. The studio not only ignored environmental guidelines but also failed to take pollution control efforts seriously.
This is a major setback for "Bigg Boss Kannada 12." While the show's popularity had been steadily growing, the closure of its shooting location has raised questions about its future.
This incident once again demonstrates that adherence to pollution control regulations is essential for every industry, even the entertainment sector. It remains to be seen how the producers address this crisis and whether the show's shooting will be relocated.
