New Delhi: Superstar Rajinikanth's much-awaited film 'Coolie' finally released in cinemas across the world on the Independence Day weekend of August 15. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this film has already done a pre-release business of Rs 100 crore before its release, which shows its craze.
In the film, Rajinikanth plays the role of a cunning smuggler named Deva, who uses new techniques to smuggle gold watches. He faces villains like Nagarjuna (Simon Xavier), Upendra (Kalisha), Sathyaraj (Rajashekhar), and Aamir Khan (Daha), whom he overcomes with his cleverness.
