New Delhi: Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s latest romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein has wrapped up its first week on a solid note. By the end of Day Seven the film collected Rs 83.55 crore across India reflecting its strong audience pull and positive word of mouth in several regions.
The opening day collection was Rs 16 crore and the momentum continued into the weekend where footfall significantly increased. The film’s steady performance places it among the better week one earners for 2024 and reaffirms Dhanush’s hold in the Hindi belt.
The film’s biggest boost came over the weekend. On Saturday Tere Ishk Mein recorded an impressive Rs 17 crore showcasing growing audience interest. Sunday saw an even stronger turnout with numbers rising to Rs 18.75 crore marking the film’s best day yet.
Thursday which closed the first week brought in Rs 5.7 crore taking the total to Rs 83.55 crore. The stability during the weekdays suggests that the film has struck a chord with viewers who are drawn to its dark emotional tone and the compelling screen presence of the lead actors.
Trade experts have noted that the film is demonstrating long legs at the box office which indicates its ability to continue performing well beyond the first week.
